Holiday Suggestions in October

Early October, looking for perhaps a 2-3 night stay. Cheap enough to get to and accomodation, but still warm and sunny.

Am I in dreamland, or is this possible?! lol. Where would you suggest? Just need some starting points for my research.

Costa Brava.
Italy and South of France should still be warm. You can probably get cheap flights to both with Ryanair and then book your accomodation seperately.
Alternatively a package holiday to one of the Canaries would probably not be that much and they will be warm and sunny at that time of the year.

In October you would be better off going to Portugal (The Algarve), Turkey or the Canaries to get decent weather. Search for the cheapest flights then book the hotel & transfers if needed.

Prague was lovely when I went last October, very sunny, tshirt weather. We booked a 3 night package through easy jet and it was about £100 per person for flights and accomodation with free buffet breakfast
It'll just be two of us. I've just come back from Spain, and would like a last holiday fling away before the winter. Will look to book flights and accomodation individually.
Just checked on easy jet to give you an idea.

For travel from East Midlands to Prague return, 3 nights bed and breakfast = £248.56 for both of you.
That's staying at the hotel we stayed at last year which was called Capri, just by the river and prague park.

The cheapest option works out at £227.99 for 2 of you.

This for travel dates 1st october to 4th october
budget? dep airport?
Greek islands...I went in october and the weather was a good tan

Book the £5 (no taxes) Ryan air flights, take hand luggage only and do online check in and it will cost you £20 return for flights (plus £4pp card fees unless you have a visa electron). www.travelrepublic. for accomodation. eg. Stansted to Bacelona Reus 8th Oct returning 15th Oct £20 for flights. s/c from about £90 for the week, transfers about £30, so £70 pp for a weeks holiday.

Similar 8 Oct to 11th Oct £20 for flights, £30 transfers, £50 accomodation. So £50pp for 3 days.

:x .......... don't like hairy jellybabies anyway
Will rep all you helpful people when I get a minute.

Budget, probably £250 - £300 ish including flights and accomodation. I had a look on easyjet as soon as you had mentioned it caz and it looks very good value for money. Much cheaper than the same search on

Fancy somewhere beachy, so not Prague for the moment. Cyprus or Costa Brava seem good calls.

Would prefer Birmingham, East Mids, Manchester or perhaps Liverpool. I'd go to Stansted if the deal was too good but would try to avoid it.

With her work commitments I think we are looking October half term now which is a shame but won't put us off too much!

EDIT: It's also a big shame that you can't flight check with Ryan Air at the moment! Grrr.
