I am looking to buy 2 handsfree DECT phones as I hear they are clearer than standard handsfree phones and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations, any 'avoid x brand' advice etc.
I also want a corded phone for the kitchen (so noone can lose it!), I was wondering if I can have that plugged into one of the phone outlets and the DECT phones plugged into another phone outlet, or are they somehow incompatible? Also can 2 DECT phones work from one phone outlet?
Last question, does anyone know if with DECT phones there is a reduction in whistling of hearing aids? I have this crazy thought that as they are both digital the whistling which I assume is interference, is reduced.
Thank you.

Thanks - I'll have a look at them now. So far I'm interested in this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-KXTG8322-Digital-Cordless-Telephone/dp/B0019HGOV2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1235004288&sr=1-2 (Panasonic KX TG 8322) but £70 seems expensive for 2 phones.
Rep for help...googleing those phones now...

Panasonic are one of the best, we have had our set for about 6 years, the kids regually throw them and try to eat them, they have alot of damage but still work perfectly, you do get what you pay for.

I've got a Panasonic twin set of phones (Woolworths deal posted on here about a year ago) they are fantastic - crystal clear and very robust - buy with confidence.

ps - model # KX-TGA711E

Thank you guys, I went for the panasonic ones from amazon, great reviews and then you saying good things about panasonic helped. RNID also recommended panasonic DECT phones for hearing aid users so thought that was good. They had better last! Our current handsfree is a 16 year old BT one, only problem is 5 minute battery life when using it!

These ones were on a deal for £39 a few weeks back. I should have bought some then as the cheapest now is around the £80 mark.
I want them as you can assign ringtones to different callers. Handy to leave MIL going to answerphone when you're watching the TV.
