My brother has the same setup and it works perfectly, have a pair of solwise 200mbps plugs, basically you plug one into the socket near your router and plug in via an ethernet cable, use the software that comes with the & they explain how to set them up, you have to then plug in near the 360 and connect via the ethernet port, you press the button on the front to sync with the one upstairs (you have to press the button on the one near the 360 to sync with the other downstairs), very simple to do its all explained with the plugs,

I would go for solwise ones but thats on as they are the ones he has and work perfectly,

Heres a link for you, there were a pair posted on here a week or so ago and they were ridiculously cheap, cant remember what make, i will have a search & see if i can find the post for you,

They are very simple to use, you dont even need to use the supplied software unless you are concerned with setting up security, which by the nature of these you dont really need but hey its there. All you do is plug one into the socket by the router, plug the other in by whichever device u want to use is, wait a few seconds for them to talk to each other, and away you go.. they really are that easy!

Are they the pass through ones as pictured? If so do you want to open a for sale thread and we will get this sorted out.

I have two PC World 200Mbit Homeplug AVs available for £70 delivered.

They are used, but in perfect working order. They have ~ 11 month warranty left on them as well (photo copy of receipt included).

Please note that BT/Comtrend and the more common Homplug AVs are a competing standards and not compatible with each other. Ones you have invested in either, you have to keep buying the same type to further expand your network.

Got some advent 85mbit ones already. Sorry £70 is far too much for me. Can buy some 200mbits for £65 new. Thanks anyway.

Would not touch generic stuff from Market Traders, stick with branded equipment.

Yes want them to replace my advent ones that I'll give to my bro. The ones I can get for £65 are from Amazon and get great reviews.
