Now they lift it after we are up to our ears in water.

About bloomin time too! This is most definately the wettest 'drought' I've seen in all my years!
Problem is, as ^ says, weather's so naff, a hosepipe's the last thing I need! :|

about time too!

my mate works for Southern Water and told me yesterday that they just shelved repairs on 800 leaks as its cheaper to pay the fines than fix them!
