Almost a month into 2011 and who do you think will make it big in the music World?

I am particularly looking forward to Chapel Club bringing out their debut album and I like what I have heard so far of Frankie and the Heartstrings.

There is this band called take that touring this year who have a real chance of making it!

But in answer to your question I personally like funeral party and white lies. I loved white lies first album but it didn't take off. Shame as they are a proper band I think.

Rihanna will just get bigger and sexier!

Is she the one that wants to "do it like a dude"? Not for me. Too much of her type of artist appearing I think. It's always the same though genres are popular for a while and then shift. Anyone else like empire of the sun or ladyhawke?? I'm mad for a bit of 80's style synth!!

Love Walking on a dream and back of the van.

You might like Hurts if you are feeling the whole 80s sound

Is it just me, or is hip-hop-pop taking over ATM?

White lies are an awesome shout, saw them a few years back in manchester :)

I can't help but think that Mumford and sons second album will rocket and be everywhere etc... And I hope kanye west gets a bit more recognition for his BRILLIANT album last year :)

Personal picks for 2011 are Jessie J (of course :p) Mona, Kassidy and the vaccines (cover feature on nme - they look awesome!)

I do like hurts actually but I find the album geared towards singles and I normally prefer a more rounded album.

I thought the xx were worth the hype with is unusual. Hoping to find some decent surprises throughout the year, normally a few bands off the radar can sneak in!

Thers a scottish band called aerials up who are destined for big things imho

Don't know about anyone else but I'm looking forward to Coldplay's new album.
