Can anyone help?

I have had my hotpoint washing machine for 2 years now and it has become very noisy during the spin cycle, it is silent without any clothes in, i think the main drum bearing has gone (not sure), can anyone advise me how to do this?

It is probably only the cardon pads that fit into the motor. If you can take the back off your machine you'll find a large black screw on either side of the motor. Undo these and you will find a spring with a carbon part attached. Get new ones and replace. Any service shop will sell them.

when the bearing start to go you start hearing a sweak and a rumble at very fast spin
