The way it works:

1. If you post your first deal it appears that you must justify and wrongdoing by saying "It's my first post please be gentle".
2. If you see a good price for an item, don't forget to add at least 10 exclamation marks to the title. This will attract readers of tabloid newspapers who enjoy this sort of sensationalisation.
3. If you see an item reduced by 5% don't forget to add to the end of title "Possible Misprice????"
4. Justify your bargain posts by over-sensationalising and exaggerating the deal.
5. Be patronising. For example, "10 Duracell Batteries for 99p - perfect for people who need batteries".
6. If you sell an item, expect the comments "Can you post first and I will pay later". Only HUKD has this ridiculous policy!
7. If you see a DVD film or music CD for £2.99 you MUST post it. Everyone else seems to be despite £2.99 to be the going rate for these type of films.
8. This is the best one. Lie about your wealth, you imaginary girlfriend, your imaginary BMW or Aston Martin car, your life as a stockbroker, etc.

I have not made up any of the above. The forums are full of hard-of-learning people or liars.

Perhaps you should stick to the safety of Misc then - it's pretty lawless

This is quite possibly the best post I've ever read. And all so very true.
Thankyou, Dave

Thanks. By the way, I am about to go on a long drive in my supercar which is worth £80,000 to meet my imaginary girlfriend. The supercar was reduced to £79,995 which makes it a bargain!!!!! Maybe a possible misprice, glitch or loophole. The supercar is perfect for those who are rich and need a good car but £5 short of the asking price. Once I have met my imaginary girlfriend and go out clubbing with my partner in crime I will go back to my job as a day trader while training for my all-important football match since Fabio Capello will be watching me.

By the way, I may sell my supercar for £70,000 and yes I can post first and people can pay me afterwards.

Oh the supercar is my first post for a deal. Please be gentle! It comes with a £2.99 CD included in the CD player.

Tanya,

Remember, if anyone votes your posts cold you have to whine and moan like a baby too. It appears that cold votes can cause certain members here to suffer from brain haemorrhages!

Don't forget that one should expect their submitted deal thread to be hijacked for the purpose of select HUKD members to talk about something banal and unrelated i.e. general chit-chat.
