If I go away (this country or abroad) is there any way I can access my Firefox bookmarks on an internet cafe computer without having to donwnload any synching software to the "borrowed" machine?

Could you copy the links and save them as a draft in your hotmail (or other email) account?

Open up a Firefox window.
2

Click on the "Bookmarks" menu and select "Manage Bookmarks..." In case of Firefox 3.6.2 select "Organize Bookmarks..."
3

Click on the "File" menu and select "Export" in the window that pops up. In case of Firefox 3.6.2, click on "Import and Backup." Select "Export HTML." A save option will appear.
4

Give your bookmarks whatever title you like and choose a location to save them in the save window that comes up.
5

Open this file on any computer with a Web browser and click on the links to go to each bookmark, now that your bookmarks are saved as an HTML file. You can also import them into the bookmarks or favorites menu of another computer.

I think Google Chrome might allow you to save your bookmarks to your google account... Not 100% sure though.

I use xmarks. However, for it to work on another PC and to synchronise my bookmarks, don't I have to install it on the second PC? If so, not sure that this would be possible (or desirable) in an internet cafe.

Post 2 looks favourite, but probably with the document e-mailed to myself as I would not want to install them on the other computer.

I think a couple of people have misunderstood the original query.

Thanks everyone.
