in this current situation any job is a good job. I'd go for it and stick it out for a bit! Will look for future applications...the fact that you could stick out a high pressured/intense job for x amount of time wont do your cv any harm!
#6
yeah go for it,its worth a go plus sometimes a job can be made better if a good crowd work there
#7
well this this a very good 3rd job surely?

its a building block. Gordon Ramsay started as a porter

go for it

make sure they pay the minimum wage this time unlike the £3.75 you accept now!

I used to do a few shifts when I was still at school. It's not that bad, I enjoyed it cos the people around me were a good laugh. Just give it a couple of weeks. It can be non stop at times but that just makes the day go quicker if you busy

GL with it

I worked as a kitchen porter for my HND, its a great laugh, you will be cleaning the kitchens, washing and wiping dishes, ( they go in to a huge dish washer) most of the time, lots of lifting mind so if you dont mind hard work you'll love it. i did . OP go for it give it a few days and see how you like it, its a job at the end of the day. Ive managed hotels for more years then i care to remember and i can honestly say house keeping is the worse department to work in, I could tell you things that would make your hair curl or throw up..lol
Good luck hun

Kitchen porter really is a **** job tbh, although it depends what your doing. I worked in the kitchens of some big hospitals , throwing stuff in an industrial sized dishwasher that wasnt very pleasant, or scraping peoples old food off their plates at posh restaurants, the worst job was washing big pans in a pair of marigolds in temperatures hotter than the sun.

The one good thing about it is you're always busy and its all a big rush so time flies and before you know it the day is over.

if it goes ok for tommorow i'll probably have the job-hours suck aswell 6-3 or 5-1
all seemed ok though, like ok people

Im a chef and to be fair it all depends on your workmates, you can have a right laugh with the right peeps and the job don't seem that bad, but on the other hand if you don't click with any of the other staff i can be a right pig of a job..

Give in go, Nothing ventured Nothing gained
