Had new bathroom and downstairs loo fitted a few months ago. Overall, please with the job but the "snag list" seems to be never ending.
Cloakroom toilet lid became loose then came off one hinge at the back (plastic has snapped). Complained and was told we must have mistreated it (definitley not) and that we should not have continued to use the seat once it was faulty. !
Now the toilet lid and seat in main bathroom are also loose but does not appear to be any access to bolts to try and tighten it. The toilets are the square shaped ones and both sets are plastic soft close.
Nothing has ever been mistreated but the company is refusing to resolve anything further for us. We paid for the whole project in 3 lump sums but retained £100 off the final bill until all the snags promised were resolved. We seem to be going backwards now.
We are being accused of mistreating the toilet seats. Anyone any ideas what they mean? Neither of us are overweight.
Now considering getting in someone else to put this right and using the £100 to pay for this. Don't really want to deal with them anymore
