How do i complain about ITV?

I want to make a complaint to ITV about their choice of people on their Ant and Decs saturday night takeout. The woman they picked from the audience was horrible, they mentioned how she hoovered up her daughters hamster, then glorifed her for doing so.

Oh how funny it is to kill a hamster. I was appuled by this and wish to make a complaint, however ITV's website is less then welcoming to someone who wishes to complain. Has any one complained previously? If so how did you?

Agreed... really didn't want her to win anything... she sounded like a complete biatch. cleaning the toilet with her husbands toothbrush, killing the hamster. Unbelievable.

My daughter and I were both horrified at he hamster story. She did seem to be a truly vile human being, I'd complain too - where should we complain to?

i didn't watch it so shoot me if i'm wrong, but is it possible that the hamster story was considered funny because of the contrast between the relatively mundane activity, the horiffic accident with the hamster and the lack of intent to do so? it's hard to describe what i mean, but my friend has a cat who brings in mice etc, she loves animals by the way. so she caught the mouse and put it in a little box for a bit to make sure it was ok before releasing it, but in the process of making airholes in the box managed to push a pencil through the mouses head. now i know this isn't pleasant for the mouse etc etc, but since it is funny in a way. maybe?

if she deliberately vacuumed the hamster however then i wish you the best of luck in sending her to the gallows, metaphorically of course...

im sure it was an accident, however if it was a different animal it would have been different. If she had clubed a dog to death with a hoover it would have been so different. She shouldnt have been rewarded for it!

Fairplay... but she managed to drop a roast dinner down the bog??? How I don't know... then she still served it... She was HORRIBLE.

I think I've made a complaint before (can't remember what about) but the way I did it was to get a copy of the Radio Times - in the back are the details of how to get in touch with all the major channels. I'm just looking in my Radio Times now...
Phone ITV on 0844 881 4150. If you'd like an address that's here too!

What is wrong with Saturday night TV on ITV? it's utter GARBAGE. Whats more, as soon as Saturday night has ended, ITV peddle for NEXT Saturday, as if the rest of the week doesn't matter. :x
Ant and Dec, with hasbeen's as guests, playing stupid stupid games!. Wasn't this the type of programming format that Noel Edmunds was doing over 15 years ago on prime Saturday night TV? :?

So I'am sorry Ant and Dec, YOU'RE FIRED,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Ha I watched that also, it wouldn't even cross my mind to complain but I was scratching my head thinking why are they rewarding this vile woman and making out the things she did were funny?

Hoovering up and killing a hamster
Cleaning the loo with her husbands toothbrush
Leaving a bag of SICK on someone radiator
Dropping a roast down the loo but still serving it to her family

I wondered if I had just had a sense of humour bypass, so am glad to see others thought it was in poor taste also.

You sure it was Ant & Dec you were watching and not Shameless ?

It may as well been!

I have complained to ITV but my daughter is pressing me to complain to the RSPCA, and I see her point. Someone with the stupidity to try to clean a hamster cage with a hoover while the hamster was still in it should never be allowed ot keep pets again.
#17
And so we should. How can you be so moronic to hover a hamster, if your cleaning the cage put the lil guy in a ball so he can have a run! Its not a simple mistake like anyone could make! I agree she should never be allowed pets again
#18
I agree this is no something to laugh about, I guess being as (I think?) it is live, it is difficult to "vet" (no punn intended!) contestents.
#19
true, however they would have picked the person before hand as they had to prepare all the questions! I bet there was a far more deserving person in the audience. Btw no response fro ITV yet.
#20
I got an automated response, but nothing from a person there.
#21
I think some people to need lighten up a bit and stop been so petty.

By the same token whenever anyone vacuums they kill countless numbers of animals, but don't bat an eye lid.

ITV is poo!

Just like the the phone in winners :p

and there was me thinking the saddo's complaining about holly willoughby's dress were lame. Thanks for contributing to the dumbing down of british tv. and people wonder why so much net traffic taken up by US tv downloading
#27
I personally think she was full of poop, why would someone be dishing up the dinner near a toilet? Does she have a cooker in the bathroom, or a toilet in the kitchen....all for tv i think.
#28
What the hell was she doing taking the cooked dinner into the toilet anyways ?

a bit odd or is she tring to kill off her family ?

I hope her husband devorced her for using his tooth brush in the Bog ! i would have !

thats VILE

and i feel so sorry for her daughter finding out that about her hamster on national television !
