Anyone have a number I can call them on??

Tried them but it just says to contact CPW.

How am I supposed to report it stolen then?

I rang CPW twice, first time it said call a different number, the second time it said number no longer in use.

I tried o2 and it says to contact CPW as that's where I bought it from.

Tried going through again without entering my number, and there's no option for a stolen phone!!! Went to one of the other options and it hung up on me.

That's correct. While your contract for the mobile usage will be dealt with by o2 - the contract for the hardware is with CPW. Still... it is advised to contact the mobile operator in case you end up with unauthorised calls which you'll be liable to pay for unless you inform them within 24 hours I believe.

You will also need a CRN (Crime Ref. Number) from the police, which is basically just an index number so that it's on their system to ensure you're covered for unauthorised calls, and also to claim insurance if needed. Don't wait, or leave it until another day. Do it ASAP ;-)

From memory, network services for o2 is 08009777702

But you can always try 08701117200 opt 2 opt 5 then press * instead of inputting your number (should get you thru to person) friend suggets 08000490049 as well.

That's what I'm trying to do now:

0870 1117200 says to call 0870 5214000 out of hours

0870 5214000 says the number is not in use!

How am I supposed to report it stolen if they won't answer the phone!!!

It also says to contact the number on your latest bill, but I have on-line bills and there appears to be no numbers. Either way, I'm using the number from their website.

Think I'm going to have to e-mail them, at least that'll show I tried to report it at a certain time.

Reported it on-line, says they'll respond within 4 days, great!!!

I'll call them in the morning I think!

You bought the contract through car phone warehouse to save money, one of the reason it's cheaper is because you have to use their rubbish support instead of O2s awesome support.

Didn't realise at the time that buying from cpw as opposed to phones4u for example, means that you can't report your phone stolen to o2!
