Yes that's your opinion but I can't stand dogs although I can't blame the animal so much as the owners as I walk along and step in dog crap :x

lol to all your suggestions ordinary black pepper around the outter edge of your garden will stop the cat coming in at all.

I love this. We had the same problem. Bought our house from ppl with a dog, when they moved out the cat thought it had won the lottery..... but didn't count on me! We have the cat sonic things and I regularly threw water (and pegs) at the cat. Know it runs through the garden, if at all, and vaults the fence like an olympic athlete!

Best not to get caught though

Its really annoying, dog owners get fined if we dont pick up after our pets, I keep telling the other half im going to collect up all the cat poo and post it through the letter boxes of all the cat owners in the street.
Thanks for all ur hints will give them a try. xx

I'm told that 2 ltr pop bottles filled with water and placed around the garden are a good deterrent. but then you have unsightly pop bottles everywhere lol

Cat owners deserve everything their cats get.

I actually have no problem maiming a cat if it's in my garden. What's the best way to send a message to the owners and the cat?
#25
i find that pinning them on the fence with a cross bow kinda works.

I agree with Jeyes, this is also good if you have a fox problem! I bought it in Homebase as I don't have a Home Bargains near me. Another thing that seems to work is sprinkling curry powder on the bedding.

Anything high pitched will drive them off.

When I cook and the smoke alarm goes off (lol) my cat goes nuts.

Wow, what's up with all the cat hatred ?

Think I will come poop in your flower bed too!

I had this problem before and tried everything to no avail until I kept one of the kids water blasters near the door to garden - after soaking them mid turd several times they avoid my garden and actually run past it at speed

never ever had bother with cats in my garden since i filled clear plastic bottles
with water and laid them around the garden. the cats seem to get a fright when
they see the reflexion on the bottles of themselves.
it has worked for me for a few years give it a try .

Put some broken glass down last night and there was no cat pee this morning.

Found a bit of blood this morning though and the neighbour's daughter was crying as she left for school though.

yeah sounds plausable.

Of course your neighbours all think you are round the twist, a little bit mental and tell their kids to keep away from the mad one, but apart from that.. WIN!

I don't agree with cats doing there business in other peoples gardens but to say kill them or harm is just wrong at the end of the day that is someone pet who Is doing nothing out the normal to harm you also would you like to see a little kid cry because the precious little pet has been killed over something so petty,Jesus :x

Crushed Egg shell is better for the plants and for the cat! Also protects from slugs!

Shoot it leg, that way it has 4 times to learn not to come back.
