Hi. I know someone will manage to help me - can you tell me how to take a screen shot of a page from the internet?

Thanks

Print Screen takes the whole dekstop

ALT + printscreen captures the active window.

The snipping tool in Vista / Windows 7 can also do this.

also if you're on firefox theres an add on call FireShot that captures areas of the webpage or the entire page and also let you edit it.

It's not any easier. It's a keyboard shortcut, as it is on Windows.

Only in Windows 7 is it remotely close to the Mac implementation and even then it's still easier to use on a Mac.

you can laugh but the first time I went in an internet chat room I didn't know how to work it, people from the board were going hi Chalky... why don't you speak.... in the end I registered under the user name "I don't know how to speak in a chat room" and someone in it kindly typed out the instructions.
Us elderly folk never even had calculators at skool let alone computers ;)
