How do i make a photo black and white except the person in it??

As the title says i want to make a photo black and white but keep the person in it in colour, what software can i use to do this with and is there a free software that i can do it easily with ???

You just need to google a bit. Here is a tutorial using the Gimp free software. There are many more similar things.
