Get a sauce.

50p a lot easier. Suprisingly it's what I'm cooking tonight. I like putting crisps on top.

No X)

It will just be tuna and cheese and pasta, will be very dry, and not really have much flavour.

is putting Crisps onto it a northern thing because some of my southern shandy drinking pals have never heard or even thought of doing this ...

In my mummies house it was a "given" that you'd have crisps on top ( and in the middle ) of the dish

IF Northen you mean Oswestry. X) (Was North Wales)

It actually suggests it on the packet and gives it some needed crunch, tastes good as well. Says plain, but tended to use strong Cheese & Onion.

Flours used as a thickener, might be best to list what you do have all together and the team of chiefs at Hotukdeals can suggest. X)

Easy cheese sauce. 1 tablespoon of marg/butter melted in a pan, add 1 tablespoon of flour and mix with the melted marg/butter.Add about 1/2 pint milk and whisk over a low heat until it thickens. Once ready add grated cheese and stir, till cheese melts.

Isnt that just a normal cheese sauce? I'll agree it's easy, but then any sauce is easy once you've mastered a basic roux. Which is easy. Hmm.

Anyway, this reminds me of being a student. Pasta and a tin of beans, with grated cheese. Lived off it :-s

The whole point of studenthood is making [email protected] food based on what you have/is cheapest.

Have you tried smartprice pasta shells and smartprice curry sauce? I've heard it's nice for 14p.

Same here. I haven't been to Uni for a month or so since my modules ended. Had my first exam today and it was a painful reminder at what your typical student is like. Waste of space.
