How do you return an item to Play.com - no contact details to email them!!

Hi,

I purchased a nextlink invisio G5 on the 24th of Jan and it arrived a few days later, i tried to charge it last week but it refuses to charge, when you try to close the lid on the small charged it comes with it wont fasten down properly, so it wont make a connection with the bluetooth device,

I bought another for my brother and his works fine, just my luck, so i can see what the problem is,

I have gone to my play account and selected to return and item but when it shows my order history it wont let me click my order?? so i cant request a return number,

Does anyone know how to contact them as they do their best on their website not to tell you,

I hope someone can help..

you have to email them and then they email you back asking why and then they send you another email back with a confirmation code but you have to pay the postage costs, total rip of if you ask me.

Go to home page, click on "help" top right of page, scroll down to " Help with your order" :thumbsup:

Looks like Calmacuk and Ukmonkey have solved your problem. I used their return service last week. Found them to be very efficient

It wont let me for some reason click the nextlink invisio item in my order history!!! it says to:

"Before returning any item please follow our returns authorisation procedure by clicking the 'I would like to return an item' link below. We will email you a returns authorisation number along with details on how and where to send your return. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse any return which does not include a returns authorisation number."

It then says "Select the item you would like to return (click a red button)" but there is no red option next to the invisio (posted on the 24th feb) just an option next to a copy of Ghost recon i purchased back in January???

Still cant find a blooming email address though

Hi, sorry to dig up this thread. I found it while searching google on how to return a jumper that I ordered. When I got the jumper I opened it tried it on and had a look on the label and I believe that I'm allegric to the material used. Tags are still on, but I had to open the pack to find this out, do you think that I may have to postage because of this?

I can find the jumper in my order history and I clicked a link from there to read the returns policy and it tells you what to do, but I can not find a returns option to select. The bit as I've bolded below from their returns info.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it free of charge provided it is received back to us in its original condition and within 30 days of it being dispatched to you. Simply visit your account to locate your product and click on “I would like to return a Play.com item”. We’ll take care of the postage costs for you and provide you with a printable pre-paid label.

I looked at all the pages in my account and cannot find anything where I can select to return an item, hopefully I'm just being blind and hope somebody could tell me where it is.... or a screen shot would be even better lol

depends when you ordered it. After 28 days, the return option gets removed and they fob you off with the manufacturers telno and say you're on your own (UK laws dont apply)

I ordered it on the 19th December so not long ago. When I look at my "order history" I cant see a return option for any of the items I have ordered. I've ordered about 5 items in the last week. When I click on an item it gives me some options for more information etc and one is the "returns" page that I quoted the bit above from.
