Thnink it's easy enough to do, but you have to watch out for damaging some cable's in the spine, I believe I read somewhere.

They are very fiddly, but if you got time and patience you should be ok, its also easier to change the phat screen than it is the ds lite, took my 15yr old nephew about 2 hours to do, but you will need quiet time to do it, not kids running round or trying to do it between jobs
ok i think i will order a screen and give it a go its got to be cheaper than buying a new one because for some reason he dont like the his dslite keeps going back to the phat one thank you
my nephew drew a diagram of the ds , of where each bit went, try taking photos on phone before removing bits, etc, etc and take your time, he said the hardest bit was remembering where everything went back so was thankful he drew diagrams - lol
i normally do take phots where everything goes when i take things apart only because i used to be left with loads of parts left over lol
good luck, its worth a shot
As others have said it can be a fiddly job, take extra care when prising the two half`s apart... it`s very easy to break the power switch/ volume switch.
Have a look at some tutorials first to familiarise yourself with the workings. Good luck.
i changed the touch screen and it all works my sons well happy thank you all again
