i'm sure it would be just the same as any other base unit..... just unscrew and slide it off sideways

Actually Dell tend to be much easier than that.

There usually is a lockable leaver. Pull it and the case's side wall swings open for easy access.

Well it is a Dell PC, and they are one of the biggest PC makers in the world, so maybe they have a support web site.

And maybe on that web site they have instructions on how to take the cover off a Dell 3100c.

So I look for one, and 10 seconds later find this:

Sorry for the sarcasm, but you can find out EVERYTHING on the internet. I just seached on "Dell 3100c", went to the Dell web site from the list of hits, pressed a few buttons, and there it was. So easy.

yes i am confident,performeed many upgrades etc,all i asked was is the dell tower case diff,i remeber hearing that they make there own motherboards
