ive never had problems with littlewoods until just a few weeks ago. and everything wasnt getting sorted until i mentioned "legal representatives and bank" then they co-operated well. lol amazing what a few words can do.

I had used different offer codes off hukd, and they re-charged to my account about a year later.....i tried to argue the fact that they had sent me leaflets with the codes but they wouldn't have any of it. So I had to re-pay what I thought was discounted, if they had done it sooner when the goods were unused they would have got them all back though

when did you use the code/how long untill they tried to claim it back? do you have an account with them or did you pay by card? I'm getting a little worried:?

This was a couple of weeks ago. They took the full amount without my permission and didnt tell me about it. Ive not had it when theyve tried to claim it back down the line. If they do that then just say youll return the goods and expect a full refund.

Sorry I don't understand the concern, or why people get up in arms when a retailer claims back a discount they were NEVER entitled to use in the first place:?
Littlewoods quite clearly state in the t&c's of all voucher codes if they discover you were not entitled to the discount code, they can claim the discount at a later date. You agree to this when you use the e voucher you were never entitled too. There is no set time, they can and do audit accounts some few months maybe more after and can at any time claim them back as if you were never entitled in the first place they can.
Leaving it months is naughty of Littlewoods as then you can't return the goods, it is however quite common, I thought it was common knowledge?
Caveat emptor ...........................

I had a problem even though i was emailed the code. I even forwarded the email back to littlewoods. They said that it was an email they sent out but i wasnt entitled to it. Dont ask me why not if i was emailed it. Anyways got a full refund in the end.

They CAN'T legally take the money. Anyone who experiences them trying to do so go direct to Trading Standards. DO NOT PAY THEM.
