Hello,

I am about to get rid of my iphone 3gs, I have never synced it with my current pc and dont have itunes on it.

I want to get all the music from itunes on to my pc before I get rid of it.

Anyone reccomend any free programs that do this that work well (without having to install itunes and sync up)

Thanks

I think you might be able to do it with this http://www.copytrans.net/copytransmanager.php, I have done it with a JB Ipod, just not sure if it works without JB.

Or why dont you just download Itunes on your PC and then at least when you get a new one you can sync music back on, besides you will want to restore your Iphone before selling so you will need Itunes?

BEcause its a JB Spanish iPhone and I dont have a Spanish simcard anymore....so would prove a bit of a disaster.

What u need is "ifunbox", google it. Think URL may be I-Funbox.com

There are several programs that let youdo this but ifunbox is completely free with no limitations. I've used it a few times to recover music from my iPhone if my Hard drive has died or I've reinstalled windows.

Use foobar + Ipod Management plugin:

Free and lightweight, and you can see how this guy moved away from itunes to this set up:

Never do this! ha

Not wishing to hijack the thread too much - is there anything similar for Ubuntu? I hate having to load Win XP just to sync my touch.
