Im in leicester.. not seen anything round uni but like a ditz i didnt even consider them I thought i thad to be done externally!
#4
depends what the backlogue is...obviously if everyone else is getting theirs done too then waiting time could be increased a lot.
#5
also you could consider doing your own?
#6
The uni will defo do it. though look locally you might find a more professional service. My uni one did the job but didnt look amazing

depends what type of binding your after. I know office world used to do comb binding, im sure staples would do the same. Perhaps they are worth a call? Or u could buy the machine yourself and do others for them for a profit!! Woohoo beer money!

Staples did mine (while you wait) - was pretty reasonable too even though I can't remember how much ;)

Depends on the type, hardback will almost always be sent off, then it can be a 48 hour to 1 week service often enough.
#10
Yes, staples did mine as well - about 10 mins !
#11
My uni, Leeds, did it for about £4 and it took less than 10 minutes.

Your uni will have the number for someone who can do it for you, it's usually more expensive for a speedy service. comb binding will be offered by your school office. My uni charges about £25 for hard binding, and £15 for soft I think.

it does say bring a sleeping bag though.

Staples did mine too, took about ten minutes and cost 7 quid (had to have two copies done)

again, depends on binding?

Like people have said, costs about £5-8 and about 10min for good comb binding at a normal print shop(which is what i done).

However, that wasn't my first choice...really wanted to get it done hardback..but obviously i wanted as much time as poss for my dissertation. I checked it out and you can get anything up to same day hardback binding but it costs about £60.

My hardback binding was about £20-25 per bind, out of memory.

What sort of binding did you get at Staples? At Lincoln myself and trying to work out where best to get mine bound.

doesn't binding matter on the amount of pages you have?

so it could be 20 or 100 pages they'll still charge the same price?

It does, but the main price differences are from the type of binding.

Hard back at my Uni required it to be in 7 days before.
Hard back at my local place was twice the price but they did it in an hour...
I went for the expensive one and gave myself an extra week.

Yeah, more margin on the left where the binding is
