Indeed. But I think formation needs to be manipulated.

Based on the national average, 13 years....which is about 12 years more than Liverpool FC have left.

Liverpool have only 3 good players, gerrard torres & ngog maybe even kuyt. The rest are rubbish even caragher has lost it! Rafa messed liverpool up.

A long time hopefully, he's doing a great job X)

Thats it. Blame the manager. Not the utter tripe that you have playing for you.

Liverpool don't sack managers. The club will stand by him, just like the fans will always support. Its when you're walking through the storm that you need to hold your head up high.
#13
Great tactic.

Move from Fulham, destroy a top team, then get sacked, paid off, move back to Fulham possibly in the future.

I was there mate, the fans were booing the result, if you listened until the final whistle you would have heard them supporting the team

Destroy a top team? I think finishing 7th last season doesnt make them a top team.

They were in decline waaay before Hodgson took over.

He didnt have the time/funds to give the squad the overhaul it needs.

Admittedly signing Konchesky wasnt a great move, but I am sure he was limited by the funds the owner gave him.

Serious?

If a team rates Ngog as one of the top 3 players then it's not surprising they are struggling. Liverpool have not replaced Alonso or Benayoun (3rd and 4th best players) so will never challenge for Europe until they do so.

I promise not to lol about view on Kuyt. Carragher has sentimental value, nothing else.

I dont think Konchesky was a bad move. Certainly a consistant performer for Fulham.

Only thing I don't get is he is playing the same type of formation that was played under Rafa. Rather than changing it looking for the attack especially against Blackpool and at home. The same type of defensive negativity.

As long as he is in charge he will be supported. But what I don't get is all these fans wanting him out, after they complained about Benitez and how Hodgson will give the change we needed. Not happening at the moment. One thing is for sure, Hodgson won't publicly slate the owner's like Rafa did.

Of course we will stick by the players and manager, you don't turn on your own after a few games.

Nobody wants those Americans near the club, the next few weeks with the loan repayment due will be interesting

Exactly - although it's a bit weird that only half the ground was full for the league cup game.

Me apparently due to 7th position not being decent.

Anyone in the Top 10 is in my opinion considered a top team, some would say anyone in the Prem is a top team

Ha, obviously.

Obviously you are another Liverpool fan living in the past.

Your club can no longer be considered a top team. You will be lucky to finish in the top half this season.

Reina and Torres will leave next year and you will not be able to replace them.

Almost reminiscent of Leeds....

At what point does the value of Liverpool's assets outweigh the cost of owning them?

yeah but everyone is skint aren't they, throw into that the additional Europa League games which there are far too many of, and the fact that the team is in its worse state for years so a lot of fair weather fans wont make the trip.

Anyway, teams like Man City don't sell out their grounds for a game against Chelsea with all the money invested and quality footballers - whats that about?! Hardly compares to a Northampton v Liverpool Reserves

i hope he stays tbh. nice guy, but couldnt happen to a nicer club.....YSB

The very fact that we are the most successful team in British history ensures we are a top team. you are obviously an armchair supporter who never goes to games and doesn't value the tradition and history that clubs are built on.

Torres and Reina will leave at some point correct, but what you fail to remember is that bigger players than them have left in the past and the club has moved on, no one player is bigger than the club

Exactly - look at Leeds United. They are a massive team (historically) and they are still in existence despite the massive financial disaster they sustained.

Liverpool can be just as successful as them and show all the people mocking them that they have what it takes.

Bit of a sweeping assumption isn't it?

Everyone laughed at Lucas Neill, picking West Ham over Liverpool.

Truth was he saw the disaster coming a mile off and decided not to board the ship just before it started sinking.

Well done Lucas Neill.

no, you see when you go to home and away games and meet other real fans you get to see the respect and value of clubs that is important, and its not whether or not such a club has gone out and spent £20 mill, but rather the history and tradition of each club. Armchair fans don't get this, they think your only a top team if you go out and spend £30 million every summer

wrong actually, Liverpool relised that they were in talks with the wrong Lucas and pulled out of the deal. We subsequently went out and bought Lucas Leiva....whose laughing now.....oh wait
