  natwest to natwest is usually instant. it usually is between mine and other half's account. 5 mins max.

  im not sure if it shows up instantly though, i have had money from rbs to rbs and it has shown up on statement as instant but not shown on my online account instant, if that makes sense - lol

  For Barclays-Barclays it is instant. HOWEVER, the first time you make a payment to another account they take a full working day to pay (an anti-fraud measure?). So first time I sent £ to my partner who has a Barclasy account in the same branch, I made the online transfer on a Sunday but it only showed on her account on the Tuesday, Since then all payments have been instant. Hope that helps.

  online - once you've signed up to NatWest OnLine banking, you can transfer funds between your NatWest accounts online instantly.

  don't know where you get that from, but a transfer to an account with a different bank usually takes less than 5 working days!

  My mum wanted to pay some money into my brother's account (the same bank as her's) and went into the branch to do it. If she'd written a cheque it would have taken 5 days, so she took the cash out of her account and paid it in to his-instant! How bonkers is that!

  I work for them, its instant if you have the same sort codes, if not it may take til the next update to show......updates are midnight monday, tuesday , wednesday, thursday and friday. So if you did it today it may not show til midnight on monday night.

  Should be instant, but I know from experience if it's from one bank to another (not same bank name) it can take up to 4 days - why I don't know!!!! :thinking:
