Haven't had a CRT in about 4 years, got 32" plasmas in all the bedrooms, 42" LCD in the kitchen & a 46" plasma in the living room :)

Still using a 32" Panasonic CRT with Freeview built in as our main TV and a 28" 4:3 CRT in the bedroom.

Now that Freeview HD TVs are finally with us it won't be too long before we get one.

4 CRTs in our house...3 are portable 1 is 28inch matsui (lol) but still going strong must have had it about 10 years. I'm the only one with an lcd 40 inch sony with my ps3 and xbox.

Had to lift a 32inch the other week my god it was stupidly heavy and just dug into my arms lol

Had a 32" CRT till January when the wedding money bought us a 40" 1080p LCD, gave that away and bought a £5 CRT 21" for upstairs as the old one had given up. On the look out for a 28" 1080p LCD though for £200 or less.

32" sony trinitron, everyone that sees it says its a better picture than their lcd plasma etc.
+ takes a good beating from the kids without falling to bits.

my parents finally swapped their crt for a 32" lcd about 6 months ago

i've had a 32" hd lcd hooked up in my room for a long time (pretty much since HD started becoming mainstream)

That's probably because they are watching an SD picture through an analog connection and most HD TVs are hopeless at up scaling SD picture

All mine are CRT... Will only replace as they go
#23
Got a panasonic crt in the the living room, and the sony triniton crt ( that it replaced) in the kitchen. They both have really good pictures and sound, the big lcds I've seen in the supermarkets don't look as good to me. We use free sat. But am thinking about getting an lcd or whatever as dh uses the panny for his xbox and it would be nice to see tv occasionally other than when I'm washing up.

I've got the last one in our house in the boudoir , it'll be gone soon. Wish I had kept the old living room one, the sound was amazing and that was without surround sound

Got a 24" Sharp crt in the living room that I've had for 11years now and a small 14" crt/dvd player in the bedroom. Don't earn enough to replace them but I guess I'll have to find the money when they go 'kaboom'!

How long before one pops up on the antiques roadshow ? :)

we have a 32" in the lounge, kids have crt portables & nothing in our bedroom, we all sit down together to watch the tv or play the wii.

Im surprised how many here have crt's, not that im knocking it, as i said in my previous post, i would still have ours if it hadn't gone bang, i dont see the point in changing something for the sake of it.

Just moved to a new 2 bedroom apartment after being in a student property. In the student property we had a 32" Samsung LCD which was mine and in my room, a 19" Saumsung LCD TV that was my PC monitor. Then there was a 32" CRT in the living room which was huge! it was as deep as it was wide i swear!
Now in the new apartment i have the 19" in the bedroom and the 32" in the lounge, have sky+ HD and return sockets on the walls so that i can send the signal to the bedroom with no messy wires.

37" LCD in bed 1
32" LCD in bed 2
32" LCD in bed 3

and soon will need a further LCD for the log cabin. :-D
