My free trial is due to end in a few days. I've got to admit i have got quite a few bargains while i have been on the trial that i probably wouldn't have got if i had to order over £15 for free delivery. Can't decide whether to carry on & pay the £49 or not....
What do you all recommend?

it is a good deal - why dont you find likeminded people to share the cost - i think you can nominate up to 6 (not sure of this) people - i dont buy that much off amazon to justify the cost -

Ive just started the free trial. Had to order a bag from weekend.

Amazon wouldn't provide the service if they didn't think that they were the ones who'd benefit most from it. Never trust a loyalty scheme.

I didn't continue with it, though I loved it while I could use it.

Is the free trial still on? I have seen a lovely kids baking set that I would like to order but don't want to pay postage or make it up to £15. I couldn't find anything on the Amazon Prime page about a free trial.

"Share one membership with up to four additional accounts in the same household and get even more value. "

I used the free trial and then cancelled as i'm not sure I'd benefit from paying the £49.

The free trail is still showing as available on my account.

Since taking up the free trial I've ordered a childs bike, Nikon camera, Guitar Hero 3 (twice) and a few other items. All have been delivered next day as advertised. I won't be paying £49 for the year as it is very rare that I require things next day! It has been a nice luxury for the month and very impressive service from Amazon, but it is just a luxury.

Mine is due to end soon too! :x Brilliant service with what I did order during the trial but I won't be paying the £49 annual fee as I don't order enough to justify it.

I meant the free trial was on the website , at that it had been finished advertising, sorry!

Can someone explain what this does?

Gives you a premium postal service from amazon for a month for free, say you order something today, it gets delivered tomorow, and you use whatever value item you like.

does anyone know if you can deliver to another address for free next day delivery with prime?

yes, I got stuff delivered to my works address.

Also, the free trial is random I think rather than being available to everyone for X amount of days. It chooses you rather than you choosing it!

you're welcome.

No, not yet but I'm waiting for the chance!! I'm sure people have mentioned being offered it again after taking up the offer once.

I loved the service but can´t justify the cost for the few items we order per year from amazon...

:)
