you will see that he has been instructed to resolve this issue when his suspension ends-I assume you have reported the issue on the actual thread?

Exactly, all the trades I've done in here and I haven't once been asked for my phone number , very few people do ,those coming into a thread like this with the comment if " have you rang them" know very well that's the case and are just trying to look like a smart a**e

I have only traded a few times on here but always gave my details and phone number , granted no-one has rang to check the number is legit etc , although have communicated via text , which is good enough i suppose , thankfully the few dealings i have had on here have been straightforward and all members have been a pleasure to deal with !
Hope you get it sorted soon op !

In all truth even if you phoned the seller to confirm & he confirmed, once payments in the bank you may still not receive the item & the seller just stops answering the phone.
As for police,I would think the police won't get involved & if they did the the seller would just say I've lost/broken the item & will refund the buyer.
After police are long gone the buyer still gets no refund & I can't see the police going to the sellers door again to ask when/how is he going to pay the buyer.

I really don't think that excuse would wash if there was say 5 people, and not one had been refunded or had any emails saying 'i'll refund you on Friday' etc
Even if it did, I'm pretty sure the police turning up at their door would most likely make a refund happen.

Maybe the excuse won't wash with the police but I still can't see why/how they can keep going back to the sellers door & the seller keeps saying he's refunding them but can't afford it just now.
I would not think the police will start asking the seller what income do they have coming in & out each week so it would get messy.

i dont think the police would get involved...maybe take details and give you an incident number...they dont come out if you've been burgled so dont see them door knocking for a debt lol

oh looking at the other threads i stand corrected..call the police!
