How many times has Batman Arkham Asylum been listed as a deal on here?!

Since its release it has appeared as a new deal thread every few days. There must be no one left who hasn't bought it, and all the deals are listed around the same price - stop listing it!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Just needed to get that off my chest

I haven't bought a single copy!

you've probably more chance in actually receiving it than those who "won" the £5 amazon and hukd t-shirts.

i'll go with 464.

If I could rely on the search feature, I'd enter the comp. http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn219/jumpingphil/giggle1.gif

Maybe they'll dish them out to those of us who are still hanging on in here!

I don't think you should have used the word "feature".

Just realised, I used it first. http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn219/jumpingphil/Woot.gif

Its just annoying, there used to be loads of deals listed on here and now its so quiet and its deals like the ones I mentioned that keep on getting listed and the price has hardly changed!

I think if enough of us enter then roryk83 will feel he pretty much has to go with the flow. He probably has 4 or 5 bargain copies to give away, anyway. :3

I bought it a while ago after being listed on here. Wasn't overly impressed though.

I pre-ordered the "Standard Edition" first (from GAME.co.uk with exclusive Challenge Map downloadable content) but wanted the "Collector's Edition" (that had exclusive Challenge Map content as well). When the price fell (to £24.99 from £59.99) in GAME's 'week-before-Christmas' sale I bought it but put it to one side as I had uninstalled the game data from my PS3's hard drive by then (to make way for a Beta Test installation).

The "Game of the Year" edition I bought as it included all the Challenge Map content available (across all exclusive formats & all worldwide territories), has the 3-D game-play but also the 2-D game-play version as well.

The "Standard Edition" I am giving to one of my kids (as a birthday anniversary gift), & the "Collector's Edition" I will probably keep in the unopened state it has remained in.

The "Game of the Year Edition" is also still sealed; but I have plenty of others games to play at present. I hope to get (back) to this before the next title in the franchise is available though.

I have played a few Batman character-themed titles over the years & “…Arkham Asylum” is one of the few that I have been interested in taking to completion (if I had the time/opportunity to do so).

An observation - you seem to spend more time talking about games than actually playing them.

It is an observation I make myself quite frequently too.

I played "Blur" for a few hours on Saturday afternoon & from 1am to 4am this morning... and I'm included in the starting line-up for the "BFN" clan's "Battlefield: Bad Company 2" challenge match this evening.

The rest of the weekend my kids have had our 'family' TV to re-spark their interest in "Animal Crossing" for the Wii. I hoping by the time I get home today they will have gone off the idea for another 12 months.

Edited By: fanpages on Jul 26, 2010 06:25: PS. Last Xbox 360 title I played was "Gears of War 2" about four weeks ago. "Joe Danger" & "Split/Second: Velocity" have been the main two titles I have played on the PS3 console in the last month.

Ahh, i see.
I also have the problem of games that i haven't got around to playing, but i go off the idea after a while and buy something new.
I noticed you have played those titles alot, but also couldn't help noticing you haven't played much of "Naughty Bear". Did you not enjoy it, as i haven't heard great things from people i know?

Oh yes, I've played a little of "Naughty Bear". Thanks for reminding me.

I do like it; the dark humour is funny & some of the game-play ideas are inspired... is just gives me kinetosis after a while. I think it may be the colour-scheme (and my own issues with colour-vision deficiencies). My two youngest kids like the game though; they've played it more than I have.

I have been hoping to play online for a few weeks, but... you guessed it; I have spent more time typing that playing :)

(I'm also participating in another Beta Test programme at present so my time has been limited)

It's easy to work out really.

The number of times Arkham Asylum has been posted equals the number of times the Sandisk Cruzer Blade 16gb USB Flash Drive has been posted plus the number of times the Belkin CushTop for £9.99 at Play has been posted, divided by the number of times Sennheiser CX300 have been posted, times the root of mobile phone deals that are posted in Electicals instead of Mobiles.

I blame the stupid rule that you can relist duplicates once a month has passed. Still dont understand that. Just bump the original if you feel people are missing out on a great deal.
