How much to clean windows round your way?

Saw the bloke cleaning next door's so I asked him to do mine

3 bed semi, 4 rear windows (including 1 double 'patio' door) 1 side bathroom window, 4 front windows, 1 front door, 1 back door.

He charged £8 and reckons he'll come every month.

Didn't seem bad but it took him like 20 mins

Decent price?

You need to stop spaffing up the windows brah.

Was £16 every 4 or 3 weeks depending on if they fancy earning some more beer money, so it seemed. Can't clean properly or wipe down the suds they leave on the sills, so they have been sacked.

There is only so many times you can tell them that they either missed a window or to wipe the suds away.

Still talking about windows right?

I'm sure ours wanted something like £35 to do a 4 bed detached. So I do it myself.

If you're a new customer here he asks for something like 11 quid first as they will be really dirty if you haven't had them cleaned for a while oO

I asked the local window cleaner years ago would he clean my windows and he said he didnt want any more customers so ive never had a window cleaner.
#24
Mine is £5.50 for 4, 5 foot wide floor to ceiling windows and 2 doors.

He comes every month but changing it to every other as they really don't get that dirty on the outside!!

Very average 3 bed semi. Had variety of chaps over 20 yrs. Latest one said £10 every 2 weeks oO

All I need is someone to clean once every 3 months in winter and once a month in spring / summer. AND I would pay extra if they would do the internal windows once a month spring / summer also. But have not met a window cleaner yet who is interested.

No money to be made at those rates but I would pay extra if they offered what I needed........not what they think I need :D

just do it yourself. Nice weekend summer job and in winter its too dark to notice if they're dirty anyway ;)

Buy a pole for the upstairs ones. Put the £260 saved towards a holiday!
