Got an offer on the Wildfire with vodafone there and my only reservation is the 500mb data. Only thing I want to keep updating on the go is my emails really so should 500mb be ok for that.

What is you monthly usage?

On my Nokia N900 it's around 600 - 700MB a month without application downloads which I keep to wifi, if you're just doing push mail (without lots of large attachments) and browsing without much audio/video streaming (such as Youtube) nor application downloads you should be fine.

The difficulty is that other companies are now following suit with the data limits making it difficult to avoid.

Try this calculator, I was worried about only having 500mb, but as I mainly use wifi I don't think I have gone anywhere near 100mb/month. Depends if you are downloading big attachments from your emails I guess
