how much discount do staff get at sainsburys

  I dont believe u can get discount on vouchers. I havent worked at sainsburys but have at whsmiths., their policy was that you get discount on the item, so if u were to get discount on the vouchers too you'd get two lots of discount.

  thanks curvy, i dont know myself, but i think he said he could use his voucher however many times he wants. its just the getting a discount on the vouchers, bit i would like to know about mainly, hes probably at work so cant ask him. : |

  It's 10% normally but they have "events" where it goes up to 15% and I believe it is on the moment but i'm not sure about buying vouchers sorry

  is5 normally 10% but 15 % atm until new year. Cant use on vouchers and fags etc I THINK. Not 100% though.

  when i worked at tescos we used to get a massive pack of vouchers around christmas time. It was usually things like £3 off a £30 spend etc
  
  the machines werent smart enough to limit the amount of vouchers used to 1 per transaction so myself and loads of the staff even managers used to get all of the alcohol for christmas new year etc food, desserts and then use all of the vouchers saving about £90 then use discount card. This will still b happening this year, i dont work for tescos anymore tho.

  If you're asking for yourself, I think your best bet would be to quit Sainsbury's and find a job somewhere else. The pay isn't very good in retail generally, and at Sainsbury's, or at least the one nearest to me, the pay's only about £5.75, and for the amount of work that shop staff do, you derserve more than that. Hunt around, you'll find someone willing to pay you more for your time. This won't help make the PS3 any cheaper admittedly, but £300/£5.75 = 53 hours of work. Find someone who'll pay you just £1 an hour more, and it becomes 44 hours work, three hours less than you'd get with your 10% staff discount.

  it is 15% at the moment (normally 10%) till just after xmas and no it can't be used to buy vouchers with.:thumbsup:
