After receiving my new dell desktop, i'm considering selling my Dell Studio 15 lappy as i know it wont get used much now other than for browsing the internet, which seems a little bit of a waste. (it's about 7-8 months old - but works perfectly)

Any comments appreciated.

specs are as follows

Windows Vista Home 32bit.
Intel Core 2 Duo T8200 processor.
4gb ddr2 memory i believe at 800mhz though i will check.
160gb hdd.
256mb ATI Radeon 3450 with HDMI out (great for Blu Ray playback - average at best for gaming).
Screen is WLED with TrueLife pretty high res, but will update with actual resolution later (think its 1440x900).
Slot Loading Bluray Player / with DVD re/writer (used it twice lol) - with remote.
6-cell 56 WHr Lithium Ion battery.
Built in bluetooth dongle.
Bluetooth mouse and spare wired optical mouse.
Internal Wireless internet card.
Fingerprint Scanner.
Backlit Keyboard (very cool @ night).

Cosmetic I know but it has the Tangerine coloured lid (which sounds worse than the colour actually is)

It's main use has been to periodically play warcraft (which it runs fine at decent res)

Overall Windows Aero experience comes out at 3.9. stifled only by the gfx, the rest are 4.X.

£350 ???

Yeah, second hand laptops are a bit of a funny business. The system spec is good (albeit with a small hard drive) and it has the blu ray player which would increase the value. I would expected max of £450 - probably nearer £400.

I've never really sold a second hand PC outside of the family before which is why i'm 2 minds about getting rid of it. But if it's not being used.......

My brother had my old Athlon 2600, the wife got my old Inspiron 1501 lappy, so have never really bothered with values after ownership before.

If I do decide i am willing to let it go, would obviously like to get as much as poss to offset the cost of my desktop lol.

I might list it in FS/FT (well FS) over the next day or so and see what kind of interest i get.

I think you may have to wait 7 days before you list it here on HUKD as this thread may count as item promotion. More info can be found in the FS/ FT rules. I'm letting you know so that you don't get suspended if you list before 7 days

yep you need to hit the triangle to the left and report this thread to a mod to get it locked. Once its locked you can't list this in fs/ft for a full 7 days from the lock.
