thinking about selling my GT avalanche 3.0 bike, bought it last year from leaisure lakes, hardly use it and think i should sell it. it has all the manuals, in excellent condition, looks brand new,

i even bought 3 bike locks for it, one cost in excess of £30 and has a few accessories , i.e. lights, also has manual and receipt but is out of warranty, gone over a year, bought it from leisure lakes on finance so in total has cost me around £320 in total

i bought it because i thought i would use it to get to work , i did for a few weeks and then stopped, lol

i am not in to bikes so no idea how much these tend to sell for 2nd hand, even though it could be sold as new as in very good condition

how much do you think i should price it for if i was to sell, if any interest i may sell on here

thanks in advance

well its now a discontinued model so expect to take a knock on it. plus you wont ever recoup anything for the finance side of things etc

where abouts are you based?

if it's in a v. good condition i'd say around £200 is a fair price- for the bike. They are nice bikes. You can sell the locks separately or keep as they come handy.

u might be better off Ebay as people looking for bikes there 'understand and apprecciates' their quality. Unfortunately you loose most because it was on finance but if you are not going to use it the longer you leave it the less it will be worth it :(

You should check the completed listings on ebay to see what they go for and a quick check comes up with between £120 well used to £200 (as bikebarbie says) good condition.

EDIT: i should refresh the page before posting somtimes lol
