How much is my laptop worth?

£0.00 @
Possibly thinking of selling it. Its a sony vaio PCG-8Y3M with a 17inch screen and 176gb hard drive. I know it cost in excess of £1000 when bought 2 years ago. Pics to follow!

Any reason as to why you've valued it at that figure? Some pointers would be helpful!

A Dell Vostro 1710 of slightly better spec works out at a shade over £600, although that does include a warranty. Personally, I'd say £400 would be fair. Maybe a little more, since Sony do make nice feeling things. £500?

Just going by the spec and considering its second hand. Less than £500 buys a lot of laptop now days.

Ye, I've noticed a few deals coming on here with good specs even for around £350-£400.

Cheers!
