I'd sell minus the printer as this will hamper any delivery options unless you opt for cash on collection.

For the lappy probably £220-£240 given the influx of decent deals available as of late.

about 100 quid would be best

20 quid for printer (would be lucky)

Dont forget to use a prog to secure clean the hard drive, (dont want info recovered after its sold) unlike the banks :whistling:

I agree that the printer is not much worth but ...
£100 for this laptop ? You can hardly get decent penium 3 for that sort of money.
I agree with harlzter. If the PB is in a good condition you should ask for at least £220

thanks - not really worred about delivery as we'll probably advertise it at our work places first before attempting stuff like ebay so it would be a good old fashioned car to car in the car park. She paid £750 for it and was hoping for half back but I did explain that it was very unlikely to be worth half what she paid for it.

I know little about laptop prices but a lot about IT kit in general and didn't think it would be worth £350.

There is a big diference between £100 & £240 though - any other evaluations - bear in mind your not going to have to buy it! I just want to get a decent price for her.

Cheers,
worto.

I wouldnt say £100 at all, i just paid £160 for a laptop thats not dual core, but has vista, memory card reader in it, and its a good stable system and looks brand new!

I would deffo say £200+ mark, i sold my laptop on here lately worse spec than that, with some problems for £100 delivered.

Where did you buy that?

I would have to agree with the £200 mark. You can always get more from selling it to people who are not IT experts and would pay £200 for anything because they dont know what is good and what is bad.

At £200 for the laptop you wouldnt be conning anyone though.

I work in IT and have bought/sold PCs and laptops for about 8 years now.

I would say £275ono and take £250, seeing as the cheapest new laptop most people will be aware of is Tesco's pretty grim-looking Fujitsu-Siemens offering for £278.

Well i just got a new laptop from pc world. Pretty much same spec only mine is a bigger hdd at 120gig.

I paid 270 brand new!

I think £200 for it would be a decent price for her.

Thats us who know the current prices, someone looking for a 2nd user laptop is often not so clued up about new prices and wont realise this so will be more likely to pay over the odds:thumbsup:
