Not sure how. But if I had to guess I would say whenever you click on the "GO TO DEAL" they must gt something.

I give you an example.

The other day I was going to hire a car, there are 3 ways to go to the site.
1. Google type the name and then click on the search result. The quote was £200 for example

2. Type the name of site directly at the top of Internet Explorer the quote was £210

3. Going via quidco £220

So as you can see they all gave me different prices even that it was the same website. so my guess is that someone makes money that way.

Eveytime you go to a website they know the website where you were before.

So my guess is HUDK makes money that way. The more people the more clicks.

So when AMAZON.co.uk looks at the report how many of how many people made purchases that were on HUKD before going into AMAZON then I guess they pay HUKD something.

Again this is just my theory and I might be wrong but I pretty sure is something along those lines.

hukd sign up to affiliate services by retailers, amazon and a few others run their own affiliates service, while others will use a seperate company like tradedoubler, clickbank, affiliatewindow.

The affiliate does all the hard work, it collects the data of how many clicked on the link from a certain client e,g, hukd. THen at the end of the month / quarter ... they will send a bill to amazon, play etc showing how much hukd have generated in clicks. The company will then pay the bill to the affiliate

The price hukd gets per click will depend on each retailer's offer on the affiliate site. Most offer a percentage of the order, but some will offer a price per order.

Quidco, topcashback all run on the same system.

I think the same.

One thing I wonder which of the retailers have their state in HUKD ... my bet goes on Amazon :)

why are you going on 10x earnings out of interest?

what gives you the idea that is how much a site earns?

whos valuation is that as well?

I estimate that they make around £10 million per year. Together with QC, possibly nearer to 30 million. That's revenue, not profit.

Whois on quidco.com brings up Maple Syrup Media Ltd, with £12m in the bank and £20+m owed.

I didn't know until this thread they were connected to HUK?
