How much should I sell this for.......

Having trouble getting rid of this at the moment, got it advertised in various places offline, considering putting it on here:-

Fujitsu Siemens Pentium D 3.20 Ghz
2GB Ram
256Mb Geforce 6500 graphics card
2x 160 GB Hard discs
DVD Burner
Card reader
6 USB ports
19" Sony flat LCD monitor
Logitech 2.1 Speakers
Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse
4 Mega Pixel Kodak Camera, Charger and Synch cable
OEM wireless 'g' Dongle
Vista upgrade disc, XP disc, Office XP. Works 8.0

If I do sell on here any ideas on delivery prices?

Thanks in advance.

You won't be allowed if it's advertised elsewhere...........also why ask for a price if you already worked one out for the other ads??

in fact i think yours even has a few extra items included. so possibly more

Which version of Office? If its not OEM you would be better off selling it separately.

what was your original asking price elsewhere?

Because it's not selling?

If I advertise it here I will remove my other offline ad's first obviously.

tbh its a very very average system, ure not really gonna get lots for it, particularly with the prices you can pick things up for now new. if the screen is in good condition then you should get a fair amount for it, perhaps £150 tops for the whole lot

Sorry...........just re-read.........missed the not selling bit.

If you go down the eBay route people always seem to pay over the odds on there.

No prob's, have thought about ebay and it will be the last option I think.

FYI, I wont be actually selling this till I've wiped the whole system and clean installed it, a freind in work is doing it for me next week.

I live in NE Scotland which is probably not good for collections lol, if I sold on here or Ebay I would be sending it by the cheapest method possible which I think will be Royal Mail standard parcels unless anyones got any suggestions.

You would need a courier which offered insurance on LCD screens, I don't *think* RMSP does but might be wrong

Should also mention that I have been told by the Mrs to 'pack my bags' if I dont get rid of it as I went out and bought an Imac as a replacement on the undersanding that I would 'get rid of it easy' to cover the cost..............

;)

I'll leave the PC and wait for the misses then :p A good spec hopefully?

Resonably specced, could do with the sound card turning down a bit but decent sized Ram and slimline style.

I live in denny. Near falkirk. Any idea where that is? I would consider buying this off you if you still had it by next friday after I am paid. How much was it you were asking for it at place you were selling it? Does it have any agp slots on motherboard as well?

EDIT: also for the hard drives is it a SATA or IDE?

Falkirk yes, I live up near Elgin in Moray.

I was previously asking £250 , I wont be putting it up for sale untill I have it wiped which should be getting done next week. AGP slots? Not sure as I have never opened it up.

Hard drives, again - not sure but can find out.

Ok thanks. I might actually be up at elgin working for a few nights in about 3weeks time :) I am interested providing it has an IDE motherboard with both PCI and at least one AGP slot. As I have recently bought a great AGP graphics card which i wish to still be able to use, and I have a 250gb IDE hard drive with all my data on it too.

How do I find out the type of disc drives?

It certainly won't have more than one AGP slot but its quite probable its a PCI-E motherboard...

By looking at the type of cable coming from the hard drive is the easiest way -

OK I'll take a look over the next few days and let you know.

Thats great thanks. Would you be willing to sell it for £150 and also to wait until after I am paid? If you use msn I will pm you my email address and hopefully get some more info etc sorted out through that. Im not too sure if you need to do anything to meet HUKD protocols or not too.
