Hi,

It should cost you no more than £15 for recorded delivery.

I generally got quotes to post items around the size and weight of a Wii for £6.75 ish via next day delivery for City Link.

Hope this helps

Recorded only covers up to £34.

He wants it to cover it all I think.

I'd never use [rhymes with ditty and begins with SH] link. I only use it if i'm ordering from eBuyer.

Ahh,

I have posted loads of things for items sold on Ebay and I dont think I have every had anything come to more than £15 for recorded delivery.

Whats wrong with City Link? I think they are great £4.73 I think it was for a standard parcel and £6.75 for parcels around the size and weight of a Wii? They have always been spot on for me with tracking numbers updated more or less within 2 hours.

Cheers

P.S. How does your status on here change? Im pretty new to this site (Signed up anyway) and I can see your a solar flare and I'm a flint? :?

Hi Guerilla,

Really sorry just had a brainwave, City Link prices are normally more expensive than I have quoted because I post my items based on a business rate.

Here's a link to the CIty Link prices:

Sorry once again for the previous price error.

Cheers

P.S. Post it to me and I will post it for you for that price if you want

The one I posted last week was £19.45 by RM special delivery, how people got them posted for less is something that I would like them to confirm. :?

I've sold over 50 Wii's.

£19.45 is special delivery next day before 1pm and insured up to £500.

Recorded delivery is not reliable and if it goes missing, you're fecked.

That's what I thought, any idea about this:

The first lot I sold I sent by recorded delivery, which was £12, so that's impossible.

The £8.75 is probably just the wii console itself.....not the rest of the items. I've sent mine away and it was just under 9 quid for the console alone.

Special Del.

Full boxed wii is about 6kg and will cost you £19.45

Just the console without the bits is a little over 1kg so will cost you £7.75

If it is a repair they prob just want the console.

Recorded has a £34? compo limit but if it is non urgent you could send standard parcels (No tracking, around £12 boxed, £7 unboxed - once you have paid for the extra insurance). Or a DHL reseller will be about £12 to get the full insurance level.

Send it via Parcelforce 48 from any Post Office.

It costs £14.99 (Wii console & Wii Sports), insured up to £150 (or £250 for an extra £1 I think).

This will then offer proof of posting and order tracking, which may be useful if you are selling to an eBay buyer, which reduces risk of chargeback through PayPal. If you send via Royal Mail parcels you cannot track delivery. And Special Delivery costs £5 more!
