£299 but trying to figure out why some shops are trying to sell it for 400-600 I would not be wiling to pay above £179 for it.

I know... but 2 gig is nothing exciting(it's the max it takes ) nor is a 250 gig hd. both are cheap to buy.

160 and 1 gig from link I posted but still poor machine spec wise either way the screen must be the reason people want one

You may have a point there.

Depends on the model number and users willingness to open unit. Some are easier than others and will not give warranty issues and from seeing another acer they made it hard on that one (for whoever tried as they made a mess of it). So yup a bit more exciting maybe.

I dunno co's I still cannot see where the value is .Not being funny. Someone else may be able to say what it is that I'm missing.

Depends on the reason for sale. Are you after a different laptop (mayeb a swap with someone may be better). The screens on ebay are as high as £271 NEW there was a 1gb 160gb new for £235 + postage £11.75 and a one for £208 or best offer and 2 or 3 @ £189 and 1 @ £179.99 all with Free postage (1gig and 160 gig)

If Ebay £220 - £250 with free postage (making sure it's immaculate in appearance and order as if a refurb) a refurb for that model ACER AO751H-1196 is £319 on a website I found but they only have 1 and how long they have had it is anyones guess.

As I mentioned earlier £179 - £199 would be most I would be paying for that (not that I am interested in buying) putting it up on Ebay @£179-£189 £199 would make yours a better choice than the ones on there already (I know that is not what you want to hear) See if anyone else on here can suggest a better way to get rid of it or give you a better example of it's worth.
