£100 to £150 max

Put it on Ebay and see. You might be lucky but I'd be very surprised if it fetched over £100. Really only of interest to someone who fixes laptops and they'd want a decent profit on resell. You can get brand new laptops for around £250-275 so selling price in perfect condition would be around £150.

I'd say £150 in fair condition, the condition you describe £110 - £120 max, it also depends what key is missing, say one of the shift keys not such a big deal if one of the letters or other more commonly used keys even less, portability is seriously reduced as you need to carry a mouse with you, it also loses one of the usb's due to that fact!
#10
I probably would give £!00
#11
That laptop based on that speciifcations new in todays' money is £260. As the laptop is 3 years old therefore its used value is 50%. So it is £130. Then there is no warranty, so the price is 30% less as it has no after sales support and warranty. This takes the price down to £91. If the battery does not hold much charge then deduct another £20. Then if there is shipping deduct off another £6 -£10 since new laptops are mostly delivered free.

Even in perfect condition I don't think it would be worth much money, the P4 processors were not well suited to laptops due to the heat they produced which can lead to premature failure. As the machine sounds as if it's not in a good state and brand new Vostro machines can be picked up cheap, I think you'd be lucky to get 150 pounds for it.

Do not sell it on ebay yet ! You will probably get more selling this on adtrader or gumtree (avoid guys who will want you to post the laptop to their's friend/cousin in the West Africa ;) ).
The laptop is not really worth much more than the £150 quoted by the others, however...3ghz cpu, the graphic with dedicated memory and decent size of ram might be a good catch for some 'racers', even thought the processor is probably slower than 1.6 ghz celeron M ;). Anyway, the laptop is good enough to surf internet and play some older games (i.e. you can play Painkiller while I can not on my quite new laptop because of the integrated video ) and if the battery works I would try to get approx £200.I know it;'s optimistic but worth of trying. Good luck

........Obviously, find the lost key at first
did you try to reinstall Wndows, maybe this is a cause of the mouse not working?
