Ok I'm looking to buy a car and am not too good at bargining to get the best price so thought i would ask here how much people would pay for this car (sensible answers please)

April 08 1.9 GTI Diesl Golf
9800 miles on the clock
Light grey in colour.
Looks in very good condition though I would get it check over by a friend 1st.

Second question how much approximately would fuel cost to travel 600 miles a week in this car? I just want to make sure the dealer wasnt spinning me lies lol

Look up parkers guide and check out what car's price guide too.

The bottom has fallen out of the second hand car market - and you should get a really good deal.

Depending on the BHP of this Golf, I'd be looking to get 600 miles from £55 of fuel.

Your model description is all wrong.
Golf GT TDi or GT Sport TDI come in 140 or 170 PS, powered by a 2.0 diesel
They do not do a GT powered by the 1.9 engine, the best they do on that year is a 'sport'
I work in the trade and have access to CAP, if you let me know the correct information, i will give you the figures.
Thanks

tree fiddy.......

Surprised it hasn't happened already.

£16k seems like quite a lot in todays climate, you'd be able to get a pretty good deal on brand new if you weren't dead set on a Golf
