I believe that you need to get a US copy of Wii Freeloader.
Softmodding it would be the quicker, easier, and cheaper option.

If you are on 4.3 firmware, then I think you're stuffed.
Unless you can get hold of a US copy of one of the games required.

I have done a US Wii and changed the region to be a PAL one, but obviously the firmware was a lower version.

Freeloader was blocked a long time ago, softmod or hardmod is only way.


Just to add, this surely must be by a firmware update?
