I found a way to read www.ft.com articles for free.

I would recommend using www.firefox.com web browser (Firefox 3.6.18) from www.filehippo.com

Then click Tools (Alt-T) and
Select Add-Ons (3rd one down the Tools' drop down menu)
Install Fastest fox
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fastestfox-browse-faster/

http://download.cnet.com/FastestFox/3000-11745_4-10966245.html

then on restarting your web browser FireFox 3.6.18
you can visit www.ft.com website and use the mouse and highlight the headlines you want to read, then a box of 4 icons appears. then click google's icon, it will automatically bring you to seach that article title, then click from google's search, you will be able to read the full article for free!

eg: http://www.ft.com/personal-finance/deal-of-the-week

http://www.google.com/search?q=Deal%20of%20the%20week%3A%20Travel%20Money%20Card%20Plus

http://www.ft.com/cms/s/2/6564f5d4-9675-11e0-afc5-00144feab49a.html#axzz1QkX5GPy9

It's a good workaround, you don't need the plugin of course, you can just search for the title wrapped in quotes in Google.
It won't work until Google has indexed the FT content, and if the headline is a common sentence Google will return any number of matches; add site:ft.com to restrict your search results.
