you can add a reply to their feedback - let people know what happened

Note: remember that the response you post is public and permanent, so be sure to make only a fair and factual comment.
To leave a follow-up comment to feedback you left for another member:

1.

Go to the "Review and follow-up on feedback you have left about others" page.
2.

Sign in, and then choose the number of feedback comments you want to display per page.
3.

Choose the comment you want to follow-up on, and click on the "Follow-up" link.

this happened to me and Ebay wouldn't do anything-but then someone else complained they didn't pay too-and they got banned-so the feedback got removed-what i am saying is-don't give up if it doesn't go your way straight away-they may get their comeupence (is that how you spell it?!) and you get your feedback back !

I left somebody a neg but i never paid for the item as the dog tried to up the postage by £20 after i won they got it removed by ebay and i received a unpaid strike good old ebay.
#12
why are you so worryed about negative feedback?
#13
In their infinate wisdom sellers are no longer able to leave either negative or neutral feedback for buyers, even if the buyer leaves you a negative you cannot respond with a negative, you can leave them a positive with negative comments in the text box but within 24 hours ebay will remove it as it is classed as an unacceptable comment,

I have had 4 buyers in the last 3 months bid and not pay, you can open a dispute to claim back you final value fee but you cannot leave any form of feedback to let others know they are non paying bidders!!! totally ridiculous rule to bring in,

If you have opened a dispute and the buyer has left you negative feedback you can email ebay and ask them to remove it as you are in dispute, it states that feedback can be withdrawn if "A buyer fails to respond to the Unpaid Item process"

Follow the link to see the conditions and how to contact:

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/feedback/remove-withdraw.html

As it now ridiculously says on ebay if you try to mutually agree to withdraw feedback:

Sorry, Mutual Feedback Withdrawal is no longer available.
In the past, this feature had been used by buyers and sellers to mutually withdraw negative or neutral Feedback. Today, since sellers can no longer leave negative or neutral Feedback for buyers, this feature has been deactivated.

Another slap in the face for sellers!!!!

becuase its a bit of a liberty , i work hard making sure no one has anything bad to say , by getting to the post office in a reasonable time , not over charging , you know common decency , and some little jumped up ***** , wont pay for an item , ignores my messages , then leaves me negative feedback , becuase i try to get my paypal fees refunded

its really pissing me off , and im not a violent man , but i would punch this guy in the head , Quite abit

If they don't respond to the 'unpaid item notification' (and you close it after 8 days, get your fees back & the buyer gets a strike) don't ebay remove their feedback anyway and underneath state 'this user did not respond to the unpaid item notification? Or has that changed too????

I had this exact issue myself a couple of months ago, and eBay will NOT remove the feedback... In my case. they ruined my 100% feedback because they never read the auction properly and then refused to complete the purchase. Then left me neg feedback cos i opened a dispute etc etc.

eBay were totally useless and said something along the lines of "we will not remove feeback as it is a representation of how our memebers transactions were", and they ignored the fact that I didnt have a completed transaction.

Just another reason to stop selling on eBay in my opinion, when in theory you can buy any item from anyone and just leave neg feedback for the hell of it.

Did you raise a non paid item dispute and close it after no response?
#19
no, he did respond, and fully admitted that he didnt read the auction and still refused to pay. so i won the dispute and got the fees back, but he was still allowed to leave neg. feedback. what a joke.

you should try not to let it upset you, just forget about it some people are idiots and you had a bad experiance with one (you cant reason with people like that) if you sold something to 100 people 1 person wont be happy :x these kind of people are never happy just ignore them as idiots they are,
if it helps your feedback will go up to 100% in a year stay cool
