When I open the file on the video or music section there is not option to copy the file to the hard drive.

Any idea?

You can't copy anything to a normal 360 and for CD's you have rip(copy) them again on 360.

I use a 2GB USB stick, on the back of my 360 for mp3's and stuff.

You can also stream media to the 360 from a PC/MCE/Server. I have a Home Server for Sky/TV and recorded TV, movies, music, photos.

Thanks rep added, I do use a USB stick and streaming through the network, but I just found odd that you could not do this.

I guess this is one point in favour for Sony, in the PS3 you do have the option to copy the files. Ironically my XBOX 360 hardrive is 120gb but the PS3 is only 40gb :x :x. I guess I would have to keep using a USB stick.
