Assuming none of your music is copy protected it's as easy as finding your itunes folder on your computer and copying it to an external hard drive and then onto your boyfriends laptop.

Do a search for iTunes and you should find the folder with all your music in.

If your on a Mac i think this is what you might need

http://www.fadingred.com/senuti/

It lets you use it for 30 days before you have to buy it.

I'm sure there will be something similar if your on a windows pc.

It should only take a couple of dvds.

I think a DVD can hold 4.7gb of data. So even if you have a few thousands songs it wouldn't take that many discs. In you library have a look at the bottom, and it will tell you big your music collection is. Then divide that number by 4.7, round up the answer and thats how many discs you need
