these definately work.. For me it made firefox browse as fast as maxthon (which is the one I use normally)

some other useful extentions to search for:

all-in-one gestures
tab mix plus
flash block

all in one gestures:

when you hold down the right button and move the mouse you can make firefox do certain things (i have set move right to go forward, left to go back, down then right to refresh etc) it has far more functions than even a control freak like me could need

tab mix plus:

Extends the function of tabs so you can open new tabs for certain links and not others, have different button clicks do different things etc.

flash block:

stops any flash coming up and playing automatically (like that annoying fly buzzing game thingy on myspace) you can just click the box to start the flash if you actually want it.

AAhhh thats a good one, i hate that bloody thing lol (just got it thanks)

how do you open a new tab if you already have a firefox window open, like iopen it within that window

I know you can hold down CTRL and N but that opens an entirely new window

on mine you just double click in the tab bar next to your current tab and a new blank one will open. (Cant remember if that was a tab mix plus addition or not!) Middle clicking a link will send it to a new tab (that one is tab mix plus)

Or using the all in 1 gestures, hold down the right mouse buttn, move up and let go.
