bit of an odd one I know but basically I have a pair of toddler shoes which I need to know the size of, IS there any easy way of doing this myself at home without having to take them into a shoe shop to be measured.
i think they are a 4.5 F but its worn off
:)

This might be a stupid answer  but do you not have another pair of toddlers shoes which still have the size on them that you could put against the soles of the ones you are unsure about and see if they are the same size? Sorry if that sounds daft, just a thought. Failing that, I guess it would be a trip to the shoe shop to have them measure them

Ha ha, it's not laziness just finding an easier option :-D I would be inclined to do that myself. I'm glad that my answer was of use, thanks

I know it's for feet, not shoes, but it should give you the right idea.

But shoes shops measure feet, not shoes??? Doubt they'd be able to help other than putting your shoes against another shoe and trying to match the size.

There is no way of measurement the size of the shoe.

You best you can do is measure it against another one of the same shoe in a store or estimate its size by comparing the shoe to similar shoes made by the same brand.

only measure the shoe against the sme kind of shoe, as you could get the wrong answer, if not. some shoes may look big on the outside but not inside
