Is that what it works out at £10? Is that leaving it on 24/7?

That's nothing really :)

It is default of OFF but some people turn it on thinking it means their remote control can turn the PS3 on

I always switch mine off with the switch at the back.

just bought two plugs that operate by remote control. I have 7 items off one socket. Should pay for itself quickly :-D

How many watts do those plugs use then?

Same here, avoids them powering up when they're not supposed to.

The remote start you would only have on is if you use your psp with it. Thats what its for. And i always power off my ps3 at bedtime anyway.

It's about whether or not you want your psp to remotely switch on your ps3 or not - btw why doesn't the blu-ray remote just have a power button on it?

It's so annoying when you accidentally hit ANY button on it and then have to switch the Ps3 back off again:x

likewise my entire media set up is on remote sockets so i only need to turn on what i need etc..
#13
Is the remote start no OFF by default anyway?

Mine is and I've never touched it or set it to ON - I just checked it half an hour ago
