Hi, I've got a slim psp running cfw 4.01 and I'd like to use the playstation network to play games online. Unfortunately, my cfw does not have an icon for PSN. Can anyone help with advice on how to play games online? If i have to upgrade to 5.01, will I need to go down the pandora battery route all over again?

All help appreciated!

I think with 4.01 you should be able to use the built in update feature to get the latest CFW

Hi Jonsend, if I use the update feature won't that restore the official firmware instead of cfw?

After ver 4 the online update feature was altered to point to the CFW files rather than the official ones. I though PSN was blocking the latest ver 5 CFW though?

Successfully updated to the latest cfw 5.0 M33-6 via the network update! Now have the PSN and store icon so will sign up later today.

Thanks for your help fellas.
